There is a war going on inside everyone, be careful

Updated: Jul 11

In the complex world of human life, an unspoken battle fights daily within us. This battle takes two main forms: the physical war of health influenced by what we eat and the mental conflict arising from our thoughts and emotions. Grasping these internal struggles is crucial for maintaining both our bodies and minds, allowing us to lead balanced and fulfilling lives.

The Physical War: Nutrition as Weapons

Our physical struggle is deeply tied to our eating habits. Every bite can either become a tool for our health or a source of weakness. Consider a soldier needs good weapons, high quality resources and direct contact with the war room to win a war, similarly different types of bacteria are needed for the good health of our body and mind. For example, if you want to send something to your friend or relative by post or courier, then there is a whole chain from your sending it to reaching them. If that chain breaks anywhere in between, then that item will not reach them. Similarly, after consuming food, there is a whole chain to deliver it to the cells of the body. If that chain breaks anywhere in between, then that nutrition will not reach the cells of your body.

Food serves as our fuel. Eating nutrient-rich foods strengthens our health, while junk food might invade us like unwanted intruders. Research shows that indulging in processed foods can decrease the effectiveness of beneficial gut bacteria by up to 70%, making us more susceptible to various illnesses.

Good bacteria, play an essential role in maintaining our immune system. They help in digesting food, absorbing vital nutrients, and guarding against harmful bacteria. Unfortunately, junk food options are enticing, and many of us might unknowingly allow our gut flora to decline. This decline not only dampens our health but also increases the risk of developing chronic diseases, underlining the urgent need to make informed dietary choices.

The Influence of Gut Flora on Mental Health

Recent studies suggest a compelling link between gut health and our mental state, a connection often referred to as the gut-heart-brain axis. The bacteria in our digestive system communicate with our brain, affecting our physical health and emotional well-being.

According to a research our digestive system should ideally contain around 100 trillion bacteria and 2000 different species what we know as immunity. When the balance between good and bad bacteria gets thrown off, the result can be anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues. According to the American Psychological Association, about 70% of individuals with gastrointestinal issues report experiencing anxiety or depression. This highlights the importance of keeping our digestive systems clean to maintain a positive mental state.

Enhancing gut health is a holistic task. Including more fiber-rich foods like apples and whole grains, incorporating fermented products, and cutting back on sugar can significantly improve our gut health. Similar to devising a battle plan, strategizing our dietary choices is vital for physical and mental wellness.

The Mental Battle – War of Thoughts

When the gut is imbalanced and lacks healthy bacteria, even our thoughts get polluted. These negative thoughts become seeds of future illnesses, which later appear in the form of various diseases on the body, no matter what name you give to those diseases – just like a seed hides beneath the soil, but the plant grows above.

We must remain vigilant, as this war can significantly influence our quality of life. Embrace the journey of nurturing both body and mind, knowing that we can achieve victory in this ongoing conflict with conscious effort and dedication.

What We Do

We work together on the gut-heart-brain axis. This approach helps bring balance, health and clarity on both a physical and emotional level.

Remember – the real war is not outside, it’s within. And this time, the victory must be yours.
